We are looking for a reliable LPN (LicensedPractical Nurse) to care for invalids and injured people in aprofessional and considerate manner.
You will work under thesupervision of a registered nurse or doctor. LPN professionals mustbe first and foremost qualified and compassionate.
The idealcandidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care tothose who need it while remaining patient and calm.
It is ademanding job but also veryrewarding.
Responsibilities
Record apatients medical history accurately
Take andrecord measurements of blood pressure temperature heart rateetc.Observe patients under treatment to identify progresssideeffects of medications etc.
Monitor patients condition includingfluid intake and output and compose patientcharts
Assist ailing patients in daily necessaryactivities such as eating bathing etc.Administer injectionsprescribed medications enemas etc.
clean and dress wounds andassist with other basic medical caretasks
Collect samples for lab testing asassigned
Provide emotional and psychologicalsupport when needed
Communicate with patientsfamily or friends to provide advice comfort and releaseinstructions
Skills :
Provenexperience as LPN or similar role
Ability toundertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in amultidisciplinary team
Familiarity with hospitalhealth safety and sanitation standards andprocedures
Understanding of confidentialityobligations and nursing best practices
Excellentknowledge of medical and hospitalterminology
Good knowledge of MS Office and dataentry
Perfect physical condition andstamina
Excellent communication and interpersonalskills
Compassionate and able to handlestress
Successful completion of LPN licenseprogram is a must
