We are seeking a Senior Supervisor of Quality Engineering at the Air Management Systems site in Windsor Locks, CT. What You Will Do

Provide technical guidance to support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.

Collaborate on investigations and analyze hardware / assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues.

Determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the Air Management team and participate in the execution of quality improvement programs.

Establish and maintain customer relations for the different part families related to Air Management Systems.

Serve as a liaison to the government and customer representatives for the quality discipline.

Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective / preventive actions.

Supervise quality inspectors and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conduct daily meetings with customers.

Organize training sessions and manager work schedules effectively.

2nd shift 3pm-12am.

Be available for rotational weekend coverage.

Training will be on 1st shift for the first few weeks.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace quality management.

Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Understanding of ERP.

Experience with SAP.

Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
