Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on oriented Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Assurance and Management to join our team in Branchburg, NJ.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by performing and adapting quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, quality management systems and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new product development
- Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes, products, and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform engineering calculations to support product design work
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary international engineering teams, and work with vendors and customers on project development.
- Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and ability to designing mechanical systems and products as well as quality control systems
- Hands-on approach to use precision measurement tools as well as setting up inspection processes.
- Experience using CAD software is an advantage; such as Solidedge, Solidworks AutoCAD, or similar
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
