Responsibilities
As a multimedia intern, you'll play a vital role in managing chestnut's website and social media accounts. Your responsibilities will include researching audiences, assisting in the development and execution of social media strategies, and designing captivating social media posts.
You'll have the opportunity to create original and compelling digital and video content aimed at expanding our online presence and engaging with our audience.
Additionally, you'll track social media and website analytics, generate reports, and provide recommendations for enhancing social media and website performance metrics.
Alongside these tasks, you'll contribute to various marketing and communications activities, such as designing printed and digital materials, writing, editing, and assisting with general office duties.
Working closely with the marketing and communications manager and director, you'll ensure message and brand consistency across all channels.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in communications, public relations, digital media, broadcasting, journalism, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office.
- Demonstrable social media skills on platforms such as TikTok, snapchat, Facebook, next-door, and Instagram.
- Foundational knowledge of SEO, keyword searches, and google analytics.
- Demonstrable design skills, including experience with photo editing software, video editing software, and design software.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
