Job Overview
We seek a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technical Engineer to become a key team member in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a stable work history and a minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering, particularly with large commercial applied equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and manage the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet all industry standards and regulations.
- Perform in-depth HVAC system analysis, including load calculations and energy modeling, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Provide accurate estimates for HVAC systems and participate in value engineering to enhance project cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC designs with other building systems.
- Manage and maintain detailed project documentation using industry-standard software, including schematics, specifications, and reports.
Qualifications
- Local candidates with a stable and verifiable employment history are strongly preferred.
- At least three years of experience in commercial HVAC engineering, with a particular focus on large-scale projects.
- Proficient in HVAC design software and tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
