Vista Health System is interested in hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) . You will be responsible for the safety of surgical patients while in the surgical suite and assisting with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the area.
Shift : Days- 8-hour shift- Call Required (MUST LIVE WITHIN 30min of facility)
Vista Health System is a community healthcare provider; a network that includes Vista Medical East campus and the Vista Lindenhurst campus that includes Vista Ambulatory Care Center, Lindenhurst Surgery Center, LLC, a freestanding Emergency Center, and the Medical Office Building.
The Vista Health system also has several locations for imaging, patient therapy, and physician offices throughout Lake County, Illinois.

- Accredited Chest Pain Center
- Congestive Heart Failure Center of Excellence
- Open Heart Surgery Program focuses on improving quality of life though surgical interventions
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab for fast "door-to-door" balloon times
- Full cardiac diagnostic services
- Electrophysiology studies and treatment for irregular heartbeat
- Coronary CT Angiography
- Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab
As a Nurse you will be specifically responsible for :
- Assessing patient status.
- Providing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Providing care to surgical patients.
- Providing information to surgical patients and families.
- Providing call coverage for emergencies.
- Experience Requirements : at least 6 months experience in CVOR with open heart experience. 2 years General OR. ( Will consider an experience OR RN with some exposure to CV / open heart for their CVOR RN position.

Qualifications :
- Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- BLS & ACLS
- BSN strongly preferred
- CPR, ACLS certified
