Job title : Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
Location : Delton Family Medical Center - Wisconsin Dells, WI
Schedule : Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday-Friday, scheduled between 7 : 00am and 4 : 30pm
Weekend rotation : No weekends
Holiday rotation : No holidays
Position Summary :
The Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.
Position Responsibilities :
- Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after care; make sure their needs have been met in a timely, efficient, and caring manor.
- Room patients for their appointments.
- Assist with procedures, dressing changes, DME supplies, etc.
- Clean and stock rooms.
- Chart prep and paperwork, including prior authorizations, FMLA, CMN forms, etc.
- Triage and set up extra care at other facilities for the patients.
- Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies and quality controls on a regular basis; perform lab tests run at the clinic.
- Start IVs, change catheters, perform wound care, etc.
- Perform "Welcome to Medicare and Medicare Annual Wellness" visits in conjunction with the providers.
- Coordinate care for chronic patients and monitoring anticoagulation.
- Travel to other MBMC clinics and Pods to cover as needed.
- Assist with patient education upon provider request.
- Perform other duties as requested.
