A Successful Store Sales Associate

• Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
• Assists customers with part selections, placing orders, payments, order inquiries, and quotes.
• Pulls orders for will call, delivery or shipping.
• Stocks the showroom.
• Manages inventory.
• Handles shipping and receiving of product transfers.
• Makes local deliveries.
• Communicates effectively and works collaboratively.
• Is passionate about impacting the lives of others.

What we require of you

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of paid experience working in a customer service role
• Current and valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience
• 1-3 years working in the HVAC industry (preferred)
• 1-3 years warehouse experience (preferred)
• 1-3 years supply chain experience (preferred)
• 1-3 years experience using inventory or ERP tracking software (preferred)
• Knowledge of the HVAC industry products and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills and strong problem solving ability (stay cool under pressure)
• Excellent organizing, planning, and prioritization skills
• Strong customer and personal service
• Strong mathematical ability and numerical reasoning
• Ability to persuade, negotiate, and work in a fast paced environment
• Strong active listening and social perceptiveness

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands and fingers handle or feel; reach with hands and arms;

and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

The team member must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Where you’ll be working This position works in a store and warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, forklifts, and tape dispensers.

This role requires standing for extended periods of time, which may include the entirety of the scheduled shift.
