Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources (HR) Director to lead the HR department at a prominent defense contractor organization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) compliance, alongside extensive experience in HR management in a defense or government contracting environment.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Qualifications : Education :

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR management experience, with at least 5 years in the defense contracting sector or a government-regulated industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of DFARS , FAR , and related compliance issues is essential .

Technical Skills :

  • Strong understanding of labor laws, federal compliance , and government contracting regulations .
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and talent management software.

Leadership :

Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and implement HR strategies in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills :

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, legal teams, and external auditors or regulators.
