Help lead the team at our Alice Ross-King Care Centre in Bull Creek . As a Registered Nurse within RAAFA, you will lead a team of professionals in providing the excellent quality of care for which we are known, aligning with our values of Respect, Care, and Honesty for both our residents and colleagues.
You will be responsible for supervising and directing resident care and overseeing the facility in the absence of the Facility Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator!
This position is ideally looking for Registered Nurses who are interested in working night shifts with close to full-time hours available!

This role as the Registered Nurse will see you :
- Coordinate client care needs, including assessment, case management, and developing individualised Care Plan.
- Provide complex clinical care including wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.
- Recognise changing needs of residents and liaise with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding their care delivery.
- Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nurses as part of a wider team.

Set on 11 hectares of land in Bull Creek, the Alice Ross-King Care Centre is a 102-bed Residential Care Centre located on the banks of Lake Howard.
The contemporary care centre maximises natural lighting and offers stunning lakeside views.
About you :
- Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a current AHPRA registration.
- Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy.
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
