STEPS for Kids is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to help us grow our mental health services and be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive pediatric services that includes a foundation in mental health and well being for the children and families that we serve.

Varied caseload with children ranging from infancy through adolescence with neurodevelopmental and behavioral health disorders.

Position requires collaboration with OTs, SLPs, and PTs in our neurodiversity affirming and empowering practice with opportunity for direct clinical work with children, parents and families, intake / case management, and community networking.

Experience working with a neurodiverse population is preferred, as well as prior experience with play therapy and integrating caregivers into pediatric therapy.

Currently a part-time position, there is opportunity for growth into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Since 2010, STEPS for Kids has been providing quality therapy services for children and their families in Kendall County and the surrounding area.

Requirements :

• Current LCSW licensed in Illinois in good standing
• Compassionate and dedicated to helping children and their families
• Commitment to interdisciplinary approach, team collaboration
• Ability to work with a wide range of communication and cognitive levels
• Experience with DIR / Floortime preferred but not required
• Competency in pediatric evaluations, play based therapy, CBT and other therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication skills; adaptable to meet all audiences
