American Thrift Stores is growing, and this is a great opportunity for motivated, high-performing retail professionals looking to advance into a leadership position with great growth potential! A Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations, supervising personnel, and creating ways to increase store sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage the areas of merchandise, operations, customer service, and human resources tasks.
- Develop creative plans to increase store sales.
- Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience.
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop a large team.
Requirements
- 2-4 years minimum of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Organization skills and computer skills.
Education & Experience
Successful completion of on-the-job training.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and working on cash registers or related equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be flexible to work on weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
