Job Opportunity : Driver Mobile Unit

Summary : Driver Mobile Unit

Experience : Experience in CDL driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile unit or tractor trailers

Skills :

  • Ability to safely drive and operate CDL vehicles
  • Basic mechanical skills to perform daily inspections and minor troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and checklists
  • Ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients

Requirements :

  • Valid CDL A or B driving license with a clean driving record and air brake endorsement
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment when setting up the mobile unit
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Education : High School Graduate or equivalent

    Essential Functions :

  • Transportation and Setup :
  • Drive the mobile unit to designated locations in NY and PA
  • Setup and break down the mobile unit at each site in a timely and efficient manner
  • Transport the mobile unit between the storage garage and Lourdes Hospital as needed
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Safety :
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
  • Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed
  • Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep
  • Cleaning and Maintenance :
  • Wash unit at the end of each day
  • Clean and sanitize the mobile unit floors
  • Ensure the mobile unit is safe, functional, and presentable at all times
  • Administrative Duties :
  • Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for mobile unit
  • Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations
  • Register and check-in patients for mammography
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations
