Aven is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our multi-family properties.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities :

1. Routine Maintenance :

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Address and resolve maintenance issues such as leaks, malfunctions, and general wear and tear promptly.
Conduct regular checks on property equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.

2. Repairs and Troubleshooting :

Diagnose and repair appliances, fixtures, and other components within residential units.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems reported by residents or identified during inspections.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.

3. Groundskeeping :

Maintain the exterior of the property, including landscaping, snow removal, and general cleanliness.
Conduct regular inspections of common areas to identify and address any safety or maintenance concerns.
Assist with the coordination of waste removal and recycling programs.

4. Emergency Response :

Be available for on-call duties for after-hours emergencies and respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.
Implement emergency protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

5. Documentation and Reporting :

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses.
Report any major maintenance needs or safety concerns to the property manager.
Document and communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance-related issues.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a multi-family residential setting.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying heavy items.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
