Overview
Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes.
North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.
Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients and 2 hallway areas, and the South side houses 36 patients and another 2 hallway areas.
There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room.
There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions / concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday.
Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.
Short Description
The Clinical Educator II is a nursing professional who is responsible for a variety of training and developmental duties in healthcare.
The Clinical Educator II possesses master-level competencies to ensure nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel have the skills and training to succeed in their individualized units or specialty.
Experience Required
At least 3 years nursing clinical practice in direct patient care required.
Education Requirements
Masters Required; Masters in Nursing preferred
License / Certification Requirements
- NJ RN license
- AHA BLS
Special Requirements
- Speciality certification preferred
- ACLS preferred
