We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Patient Access Supervisor to join our growing healthcare team in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop our Patient Access Department while contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Patient Access staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency
- Oversee Meditech training for all ADM users, including decentralized Access areas
- Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
- Prepare staff schedules and process payroll, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Monitor and improve departmental productivity and work quality
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Verify daily census and resolve insurance claim processing errors
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Financial Services
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and medical billing / coding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and medical software systems (e.g., Meditech)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards

This position is based in either Geneva or Penn Yan, NY, both located in the picturesque Finger Lakes region. The area offers :
