As a Founding Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the software infrastructure for a digital humanoid coworker.
You will leverage your expertise in Python, TypeScript, and React to build robust and scalable systems, working closely with a team of experienced engineers.
What youll be doing :
- Develop and maintain production software using Python and / or TypeScript + React
- Experiment with the latest AI advancements to enhance the platforms capabilities
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the systems
- Take ownership of key areas of the product and drive their development
- Engage in creative problem-solving to tackle challenging AI, engineering, and product issues
Requirements :
- 6+ years of experience building production software
- Strong interest in AI advancements, particularly large language models (LLMs)
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency with Python and / or TypeScript + React
- Understanding of the modern web stack
- Good intuition for making technical, product, and business tradeoffs
- Experience with 0-to-1 engineering work at startups or personal projects
- Good sense of product design and user experience (UX)
Nice to have :
- Experience with deep learning modeling and infrastructure at large scale
- Experience working on low latency real-time systems
- Experience working at early-stage and fast-growing companies
