Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Hours per Shift : 24-hour beeper call

Description :

• We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum call coverage.
• This role includes STEMI call coverage, inpatient consults, and interventional procedures as credentialed.
• Call coverage requires a 30-minute response time with 2 hours of gratis.
• The cath lab call team includes 3 RNs and 1 tech.
• There are 2 fully equipped cath labs available.
• Other Interventional Cardiologists are present on-site.
• Patient volume is variable, typically ranging from zero to a few cases per week.
• Inpatient rounding is required.
• Admissions are required.
• No supervision of APPs or residents is required.
• Three exam rooms are available.

Experience : Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology preferred

License : Active state license or IMLC eligible

Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology, BLS required

Must-Have : Ability to interpret STEMI and provide urgent interventions
