Role and Responsibilities :
- Perform Routine Maintenance : Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Support Preventative Maintenance Programs : Participate in the development and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
- Document Maintenance Activities : Record all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent.
- Communicate with Team Members : Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities and report issues.
- Troubleshoot Issues : Diagnose problems with machinery and equipment, identifying the root causes of malfunctions.
- Emergency Repairs : Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with Installations : Help install new equipment and machinery, following manufacturer instructions and company guidelines.
- Operate Hand and Power Tools : Safely use a variety of hand and power tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Monitor Inventory : Keep track of maintenance supplies and tools, reporting low inventory levels to supervisors. ADDITIONAL NOTES A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.
