As a Learning & Development (L&D) Manager, you’ll empower our people to reach their highest potential. You’ll lead a US team focused on designing, organizing, delivering, and evaluating targeted upskilling opportunities to ensure employees receive the right training at the right time.

What you’ll do
- Inspirational team leader : Motivate and guide a diverse team by setting an energetic pace and leading by example, fostering a culture of growth and innovation
- Cross-functional collaborator : Engage with regional and functional teams (commercial Vice Presidents, HR, Talent Acquisition, IT Engineering) to drive training programs
- Goal-oriented strategy : Partner with members of leadership to set the training agenda and corresponding OKRs, inspiring the team to exceed ambitious goals and enhance AlphaSights’ Learning & Development offering
- Innovative Problem Solver : Embrace a humble tinkerer mentality with a passion for continuous improvement; utilize feedback to refine training impact and deploy innovative upskilling strategies
- Adaptive and hands-on : Flexibly manage tasks, from conducting needs analysis to setting budgets, while maintaining strong relationships with members of leadership and advocating for training advancements
- Collaborative : Possess an inquisitive spirit with an interactive approach (you’re intentional about collecting and using feedback) and effectively communicating - clearly, kindly, and frequently - within the team and across the firm

- No two days are the same, you’ll have a diverse experience working across a few different mediums :
- Creating content on commercial and soft skills
- Designing and delivering both in-person and asynchronous (LMS)
- Working with direct reports to deliver centralized and decentralized training offerings (some direct reports work as business partners whereas others serve a center of excellence)
- Annual learning budget to invest in your development
Requirements
- 4-5 years of previous work experience in a fast-paced Learning & Development, Commercial Enablement, Human Resources role, or commercial role with a desire to build a career in corporate training
- People management or team lead experience. We’re looking for someone with experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple work streams and to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Ability to build relationships and consult partnerships with key stakeholders
- Attention to detail with written content including copy and proofing
- Sees roadblocks as hurdles, and approaches them as opportunities for creative problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in Human Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
Compensation and benefits
- Total expected compensation : $110,000-$115,000 including bonus
- 20 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week

- Option to WFH Friday when not delivering a training
