About The Position
Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse
Varied Shifts
Role :
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you'll provide top
tier nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, adhering to AORN Standards and our policies.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver direct patient care using nursing processes.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery.
- Provide ongoing patient assessment.
- Uphold care quality for surgical patients.
- Respect patient's wishes and act as their advocate under anesthesia.
- Account for surgical tools during surgery.
- Participate in relevant committees.
Skills :
- Knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile technique.
- Familiarity with surgical supplies and equipment.
- Competency in new technologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and supervise others.
Qualifications :
- Accredited Perioperative Nursing Course completion preferred.
- CNOR certification desirable.
- At least 2 years of surgical experience required.
