Dentist (Full-Time or Part-Time) - QueensReports to : Chief of Dentistry, Queens131-72 40th RoadFlushing, New York, 11354United StatesResponsibilities : Diagnose, treat and maintain the oral cavity of both the hard and soft tissues and their related structure by usual customary dental practicesDiagnose and render high quality dental careConduct in-service training programs in oral health for the ancillary staff of the Dental Department, and for other Health Center staffTeach Oral Health Education, including preventive care and nutrition to patientsMaintain all dental records as prescribed by Dental Policy and Procedures ManualAssist in teaching dental staff specific dental procedures outlined in the Department's Procedures ManualAssist in oral health education activities at community agenciesAssist in ordering, receiving and storage of dental suppliesAble to work part-time schedule of one day weekend and one day weekday per weekPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications : Degree from accredited Dental School (DDS or DMD)License to practice dentistry in New York StateMust be a general dentist with 1-2 years of experience and high competency in clinical dentistryCommitment to and knowledge of community health careGood organizational skillsBilingual in English and Chinese preferredCompensation and Benefits : Full-Time Salary : $150,000.
