Accounts Payable Specialist - Minneapolis, MN

Position Overview :

This full-time position offers hybrid work options. Key responsibilities include :

• Invoice review and approval.
• Expense report review and approval.
• Utilizing workflow software to review and audit requests for reimbursement from attorneys, paralegals, and other firm personnel.
• Executing payments for regular weekly and daily check runs.
• Coordinating payment runs for ACH and wire payments for our vendors.
• Processing payments for expense reimbursements.
• Uploading positive pay and ACH files to our bank.
• Recording credit card and regional office transactions in the accounting system.
• Entering various corporate invoices for payment processing.
• Reconciling vendor statements and conducting research related to those statements.
• Actively managing the Firm’s outstanding physical checks for all locations, including contacting vendors to ensure checks are received and cashed.
• Answering questions from legal and support staff, as well as vendors, concerning payments made or pending.
• Assisting in answering questions directed to Accounts Payable from internal and external sources via email and phone.
• Hybrid - 3 days a week in-office

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts payable / accounting preferred.
• High school diploma / GED required; some college preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Alignment with the company’s mission and core values.
• A team-oriented, service-focused attitude.
• Flexibility in duties and assignments, with the ability to work occasional overtime.
