Software Engineer 3- Remote

This role serves as part of a team developing and managing software code / processes for enterprise class business applications.

This team member reports to a Senior Engineer working on modular code units and / or smaller full projects or processes.

This engineer is expected to be able to drive development on typical customer projects.ResponsibilitiesCreating, managing, and monitoring automated data transform and load projectsSoftware development using SQL and / or C# for units of back-end systems supporting larger applicationsCreating and managing Exception Monitoring solutions.

Responding to and resolving monitoring eventsResearching, debugging, and resolving code level exceptions reportedDeveloping solutions using 3 rd party tools for specific engineering challenges.

Required Knowledge and SkillsStrong understanding of SQL database design and programming.Experience with RESTful APIs ability to use specs to design applications.

Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Microsoft SSIS.Experience in Agile development.Ability to learn and use a variety of 3 rd party software tools to solve a variety of challenges.

Desire to develop and / or modernize applications with a eye toward modern cloud-based SaaS architecturesStrong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently.

Basic QualificationsBachelors or greater degree in Computer Science3+ years of experience working with SQL Server relational databases.

3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and XML / JSONDemonstrated experience and success problem solvingPreferred Qualifications2+ years of use of C#Work ConditionsRemote work is substantially available in normal operating conditions.
