Casa Madera is a high-energy, fine-dining concept from hospitality group Noble 33, located in both West Hollywood and Toronto.
The Prep Cook will prepare meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by the chef or sous chefs.
They will ensure that pars are met and that the kitchen is set up to successfully meet business demands, health requirements, and company standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning as directed by the chef or sous chefs and written company standards
Prepare condiments, dressings, sauces, and simple dishes such as breads or salads
Maintain a working environment that complies with health and safety guidelines
Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies
Anticipate the needs of team members to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Comparable experience in a full-service dining establishment
Experience maintaining food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness using proper food handling techniques
Ability to prepare ingredients and basic foods according to written directions
Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times stressful environment
Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift and carry up to 45 lbs
Availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
