As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of maintaining inventories (i.e., FG / WIP inventory, MRO, general supplies) in our high-volume warehouse, in accordance with established processes and procedures.

This includes physical stocking, inventory counts, receiving, manifesting / packaging for shipment, and processing required ERP transactions.

PAY RATE :

$18 / hr - $20 / hr DOE

SCHEDULE :

1st Shift - 6 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The tasks listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required to perform this job effectively.

• Performs Quality Controls on incoming Material by following SOPs.
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles.
• Organizes the Stock Room.
• Performs daily and quarterly cycle counts.
• Applies common sense understanding to carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Demonstrates professional behavior that supports team effort and enhances team behavior, performance, and productivity.
• Understands and follows posted work rules and procedures.
• Works with shipping and warehouse team to complete orders on time.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure material is correctly labeled, allocated, scrapped, issued to work orders, etc.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials
• Keeps a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
• Trains team members on performing material transactions and cycle counts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a material handler
• Strong computer skills, including experience utilizing computers in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions.
• 3-years’ experience working in a distribution environment involving receiving, returns, inventory, traffic, and shipping.
• Experience with QAD enterprise software or similar ERP systems preferred
