Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job ID : T4H - 914 Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging procedures in the Radiology department, operating rooms, nursing units, and outpatient areas. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing quality diagnostic images, assisting with departmental operations, and supporting radiology students as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in Radiology, nursing units, outpatient areas, and surgery Take radiographs per physician orders Maintain versatility within the diagnostic department Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure Assist with front desk operations and computer systems Report and document all equipment issues to manager and Clinical Engineers Schedule exams throughout the department and notify supervisor when necessary Use centralized transport program for patient movement Access and update patient exam information in computer systems, including ordering, reprinting, and cancellations Communicate with other departments professionally and effectively Call in on-call imaging associates as needed Support Radiologic Technologist students Perform quality assurance duties related to equipment, regulatory compliance (ODH, Joint Commission), supply ordering, and audits Maintain availability for assignments as needed Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and record access policies Requirements Experience OR experience required Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques / procedures Skilled in patient positioning and operation of x-ray machines and printers Licenses & Certifications ARRT BLS (American Heart Association) Education Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
