Role Description

We are seeking a Broadcast Advertising Sales Star to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining an established account list and growing annual revenue.

The account list available consists primarily of ad-agency accounts. Previous agency sales experience is a must.

Business is booming at Continental Broadcast Group as advertisers search for ways to capitalize on the past decade’s incredible Hispanic population growth.

Businesses are seeking ways to effectively market their brand to Spanish-speaking consumers. As a Broadcast Ad Sales Representative at Continental Broadcast Group, you will be providing the tools and solutions these businesses need.

This position comes with an established agency-centered account list. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling advertising time, developing and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales goals.

You will be involved in market research, creating sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. This is an on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus, but not mandatory as most agency accounts speak English. The account list available is well established with a steady book of business.

You will be expected to maintain and grow that billing, while also pursuing additional new business. Compensation includes a generous guaranteed base pay, with additional commissions, and opportunity for bonus dollars for achieving quarterly budgets.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years broadcast sales experience, working directly with ad agencies. Applicants without prior related experience will not be considered for this position.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of media advertising and marketing
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work well in a team
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities :

• Grow advertising revenue with new and existing clients
• Create and deliver sales presentations to clients
• Collaborate with marketing on lead quality and conversion
• Answer customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Organize client correspondence and paperwork
