POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs for Boomers facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for performing routine inspections.
- Performpreventative maintenance on various equipment including attractions.
- Maintain, erect, repair and troubleshoot various attractions.
- Respond to calls for maintenance checks and attractions shutdowns;diagnose mechanical concerns and perform repairs in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
- Remove and / or replace worn or defective parts using hand and / or power tools.
- Document information in designated log books for completion of inspections, corrective action, and / or repairs made.
- Must be able to work efficiently and manage time without direct supervision.
- Must work safely in accordance with OSHA Standards and Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state driver license.
- Minimum two years experience in mechanical / industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, and / or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience with door repairs, tile installation, drywall installation, and painting area plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 100 pounds.
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heightsof up to 130 feet, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist.
- Once certified, operateattractions, forklift, Bobcat, air compressor, diagnostic equipment, and power tools, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend data contained in handbooks, safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Must be able to trouble-shoot clearly, calmly, and safely in the presence of Guests and fellow Team Members.
- Must be able to work outdoors, and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and / or holidaysas needed.
- May be required to travel to other Boomers locations.
