JOB SUMMARY :
- The Medical Assistant prepares charts and physical facilities for patient visits.
- Assists physician when completing physical examinations.
- Obtains laboratory specimens and prepares them for transport.
- Provides routine medical advice to patients by phone. Establishes helpful and friendly relations with patients.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Required : MA Certification / Diploma or 1 year of direct patient care experience & BLS / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
