About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration : Not specified Shift : Night - 12x3 - 6 PM - 6 AM - 36 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years acute care hospital experience required;
critical access hospital preferred License : Graduate from an approved / accredited Program of Respiratory Care and a current New Hampshire License / Registration required Certifications : - BLS - ACLS (current certification or eligible for certification by National Board of Respiratory Care) - PALS (must be obtained within six months of hire) - NRP (must be obtained within six months of hire) Must-Have : - Clinically independent - Experience working with all age groups - Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care Job Description : - Provide age-appropriate care to a diversified patient population.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as professional standards of practice. - Participate in the continuing education program.
- Work collaboratively as a valuable member of the healthcare team, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with peers and patients.
- Operate equipment, including Drager ventilators, transport ventilators, Zoll Bipap V60, high flow oxygen Vapotherm, and ABG Gem.
- Use Meditech electronic medical records system. - Potential for transport responsibilities in a 25-bed rural hospital setting.
