- Assemble various mechanical and electrical components into larger systems or equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of components during assembly.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with component alignment or fit during assembly.
Electrical Cable Testing :
- Test electrical cables for proper functioning and connectivity.
- Use standard tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to measure voltage, current, and resistance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with electrical cables, such as connectivity or insulation problems.
Knowledge of Sensors :
- Familiarity with different types of sensors, e.g., optical, electrical, vibrational, flow based, etc.
- Understanding of sensor principles and operation.
- Ability to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot sensors.
- Knowledge of sensor integration into larger systems.
Use of Standard Tools :
- Proficiently use tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and similar equipment.
- Perform accurate measurements and readings using these tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with sensors and integration of sensors with equipment.
Cleanroom / Lab Work :
- Work in lab and cleanroom environment to support assembly and installation tasks.
- Understanding of cleanroom protocols and procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive equipment in a controlled environment.
Training and Mentoring :
- Provide training and guidance to new team members on assembly and testing procedures.
- Share knowledge and best practices to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Address any difficulties or questions that new team members may have during training.
Documentation and Standardization :
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of assembly and testing procedures.
- Document best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and lessons learned.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues or discrepancies in assembly and testing procedures.
Continuous Improvement :
- Actively participate in process / design improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in assembly and testing.
- Identify areas for improvement in assembly and testing processes.
Here's what you will get : Pay rate : $30-$35 / hr Duration : Temporary Shift : Monday Friday, 8am 5pm plus OT weeknights and weekends.
Location : Tualatin, OR (with periodically traveling to Fremont CA) Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in electrical cable testing using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to work in a lab and cleanroom environment and follow safety protocols.
- Experience providing training and support to new team members.
- Familiarity with sensors and their integration into systems.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
