Production Control Asst Spec / 1st Shift / SAP exp / Chelmsford - Security Clearance Required

Description : Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford Operations facility is a hub for microelectronics, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs.

Located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts , our team is dedicated to producing advanced technology products that safeguard national security and advance the industry.

We are seeking a Production Control Assistant Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing floor with production control tasks.

You will use SAP and Apriso WM daily to put parts to stock, complete remove and replace tasks on rework, and release production orders.

You will also use Microsoft Excel to maintain records of stock, needed release dates, and position to program need on WIP.

Additionally, you will work with Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Program Manager, etc.

to prevent issues and resolve problems that may arise. You will attend stock purge meetings and pull reports as needed. Moreover, you will help to keep Kanban inventory accurate and assist with Kanban cycle counts as needed.

You will support the team in Performance Management Teams and process improvements. Lastly, you will fill out a weekly Kit Release Plan to keep the correct amount of WIP on the floor.

Basic Qualifications :

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in Production Control
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Will require an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to starting

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
