Job Overview
We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation and insurance defense to join our legal team.
This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients.
- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
Skills
- Strong legal drafting skills.
- Proficient in legal administrative tasks.
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court.
- Excellent research skills using Lexis-Nexis.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas state bar association.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
