As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.

In this Registered Nurse role, will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Day to Day duties :

• Circulate and / or Scrub on all cases.
• Primarily, Gen, Ortho (trauma) Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, Robotics (DaVinci XI / SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, Trauma OB / GYN.
• One specialized team for Cardiac, all Associates are cross trained for all other services.
• Giving breaks and / or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
• Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.
• Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.

17 OR Suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid Room, Designated CVOR and a Cystoscopy Suite.

Approx. - cases per month

One year RN experience in operating room required

Schedule : 36hrs / wk-Evenings- variable shifts, either 4x9hrs or 3x12hrs- TBD during interviews with the Hiring manager.

Ideally will be a mid 9hr shift.

Will cover Charge role between 3-7p and help with lunches, breaks and evening coverage

Call Required- approx. 4 call shifts in 6 week schedule block. Typically no weekend call unless covering team members PTO.
