Columbine Commons Health and Rehab is located at 1325 Main Street, Windsor, Colorado and has a 30-bed skilled nursing and 60 bed assisted living facility that provides the care the community has come to expect from Columbine Health Systems facility in a new, state-of-the-art building.
We are accepting applications for an Activity Director available to work :
- Full-time
- Tuesday through Saturday
- 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
Compensation
- Starting wage $18.00 - $23.00 / hr. depending on experience
- Employees who work 24+ hrs. per week qualify for a full range of benefits including PTO, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K , Free Health Care clinic , as well as Discounts from our Pharmacy and other Columbine Services.
Activity Director
Planning and executing educational programs, exercise classes, social events, spiritual programs, outings, special events, and individualized activities for residents in a Health and Rehab environment.
Activity Director Qualifications
- Degree or experience in related field
- Passion for working with a geriatric population
- An ability to successfully organize, plan and execute activities for small and large groups
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel in order to successfully produce daily, weekly and monthly activity flyers, reminders, calendars and newsletters
- Desire and willingness to work as a team and assist other departments as needed
- A desire to have fun, be creative and add your own unique touch and meaningful detail to all activities
- Flexibility with schedule for those special evening and weekend events
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, volunteers, vendors, and visitors in person, phone and / or email
