We are looking for a passionate Weight Loss Health Coach (WLHC) to join our team and help our patients make meaningful progress on their weight-loss journeys.
With experience in health coaching, nutrition, or related fields, this person will bring knowledge, enthusiasm and an inspirational attitude to the role - elevating patient morale with high personal energy and motivation.
Through personalized programs and individual attention, this counselor will have the opportunity to provide invaluable guidance and assistance as they aid each patient in realizing their own potential and attaining their desired goals.
Position Responsibilities : Build personal relationships with patients, providing them with tailored guidance, feedback, and meal planning to support their health and wellness goals
Connects with patients to understand their unique needs, motivations, and challenges, and use this insight to provide personalized coaching
Manages all patient metrics including body composition, visceral fat level, basal metabolic rate (BMR), water / electrolyte balance, etc using a biometric impedance scale
Helps patients create weekly SMART goals, stay focused on their goals, build their confidence, and cultivate their commitment to achieving their desired outcomes
Administers and trains patients on how to administer their own subcutaneous and intramuscular injections (training provided)
Captures patient progress photos
Learns and understands all Options Medical Weight Loss programs
Competencies : High energy and enthusiasm for helping people
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Motivational, inspirational and a positive attitude
Competent with computers systems
Required Education / Experience : Required Education / Experience - Bachelors degree in nutrition, physiology, exercise science, health sciences, or related field
Health coach, personal training, nutrition, or similar certification(s) (preferred)
1+ years of health and wellness coaching experience (preferred)
