Job Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Virtual Care Services is responsible for oversight and management of assigned RPM and virtual care service personnel in their job duties, including organizing work schedules on a short and long-term basis and all necessary supervisory actions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the activities of assigned RPM and virtual care service personnel to include all relevant supervisory actions, managing customer-related communications, and work schedules on a short and long-term basis under the oversight and supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Augment and support the Nurse Manager role to render clinical services within each care program to include all necessary internal workflow issues, as well as managing and responding to customer-initiated communications in regard to service delivery.
  • Implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) measures under the oversight and supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with Masimo’s Operations team on the implementation of standard operating procedure (SOP) to render high-reliability clinical services as it pertains to staffing, workspace considerations, information technology requirements, downtime procedures and other operational considerations.
  • Ensure program conformity with all applicable internal policies in regard to corporate compliance, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and documentation requirements under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Participate in the hiring, on-boarding, corrective actions and job description development for assigned positions within the program under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Foster strategic thinking and creativity to conceptualize innovative approaches to clinical service delivery in RPM, telehealth and virtual care services.
  • Work with the Nurse Manager and assigned personnel to ensure the technology and services have been vetted via clinical workflow and outcomes prior to execution of a customer statement of work (SOW).
  • Implement clinical education, follow up, and training needs of the program; with a common sense of purpose and achievement, and a strong commitment to demonstrate how Masimo solutions and services enhance clinical workflow, improve patient and clinical outcome and / or comply with regulatory requirements.
  • 24 / 7 accountability is expected.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience with an understanding of Telehealth, Virtual Care and Remote Patient Monitoring
  • The successful candidate must possess personal and professional credibility and abide by Masimo’s guiding principles.
  • Commands strong, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be results oriented with positive can do attitude with a sense of urgency to include time management skills.
  • Must be comfortable managing assigned personnel, including organizing and prioritizing work schedules on a short-term and / or long-term basis.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment.
  • Ability to provide consultation and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ability to present inside and / or outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to professionally communicate effectively with management, executives, physicians, staff, peers, sales reps and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior telehealth, virtual care or remote patient monitoring work experience
  • Background in medical technology, and patient monitoring including continuous wearable and spot check sensors.
  • Prior collaborative work experience with clinical engineering, and information technology

Education

Registered Nurse credentialing required. Bachelor’s degree, in Nursing or Master’s degree preferred.

Compensation : The anticipated range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
