JOB OVERVIEW

Using engineering principals to create software, responsible for the company’s software applications function including analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or personal applications products (e.

g., spreadsheets, tax packages, personal finance programs). Participates in the software development life cycle through connecting client's needs with applicable technology solutions.

May also have responsibility for testing and documentation. Analyzes and investigates applications engineering tasks and prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations.

Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Creates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist in identifying, collecting, and analyzing data to help improve our development process
  • Be a leading advocate and mentor for object-oriented design and SOLID principles
  • Coach your team and the broader product engineering group on best practices for continuous integration, test and release automation, quantifying and paying back technical debt
  • Contribute in meaningful and collaborative ways towards a positive and educational code review environment
  • Create technical documentation : unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Design and write code that meets Net Health’s requirements for quality, performance, and usefulness within project timelines.
  • Develop robust and efficient application data storage layer using SQL data tables, indexes, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Develop SaaS based computer application using ASP.NET, HTML, MVC, and C#
  • Develop Web UI using ASP.NET, HTML, bootstrap, Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, Knockout, Angular, CSS
  • Excel in an Agile environment as a member of a cross-functional team that owns its own work from refinement through delivery and monitoring
  • Handle complex issues and troubleshoot problems, providing options for possible solutions.
  • Lead large scale projects with multiple team members providing coaching and mentoring to other engineers.
  • Lead the collaboration on very complex problems and utilize your initiative and a high degree of latitude
  • Package and deploy application components, services, and processes to various environments (QA, UAT, and PROD) using modern deployment tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in code reviews as technology and methodology experts.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude, working with team members to develop and meet realistic sprint goals.
  • Work as part of an agile scrum team, with other Software Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Product members to deliver high quality solutions.
  • Work with Product team to provide guidance on project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Education Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 4+ years relevant experience; may have degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management and Direct Billing
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with 837 and 835 claim files.
  • Includes experience in generating, reading, and interpreting these formats
  • Comfortable with creating and maintaining complex SQL logic while promoting performance and scalability
  • SaaS provider in the healthcare space
  • Agile / scrum with a focus on experimenting, inspecting, and adapting
  • Building towards : Azure PaaS (Web Apps, Functions), Docker, Azure AD, Terraform

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

  • Service-based software development (such as SaaS, Agile)
  • Modern programming language (such as C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Familiarity with Git, CI / CD and orchestration tools a plus
  • Current stack : ASP.NET / C# / EF / SQL / JavaScript, KnockoutJS
