We are now accepting applications for General Manager for Diablo’s Southwest Grill at our Aiken, SC location. Job Description : Energetically oversees production of food according to sanitation and quality standards.
Interacts positively with guests while fulfilling orders and proactively addressing guest concerns. Manages and mentors staff, including recruiting / hiring / training of employees, managing issues of discipline / termination, ensuring ongoing training / education, etc.
Manages supplies and inventory and ensures orderly work areas. Ensures that work and guest areas are clean at all times.
Ensures that equipment, supplies and inventory are properly stored. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies.
Provides timely and accurate reports as required. Ensures company goals are being adhered to. Actively participates in the daily operations of the restaurant.
Marketing to local businesses to grow the catering operation.
Qualifications :
Requirements : Always does the right thing, even when no one is watching. Must be 18 years or older. Must have a legal / valid Driver's License.
Must be able to pass a background check. Qualifications : 2 years of progressive and relevant experience required. Experience managing and minimizing Cost of Goods Sold and Labor.
Experience in supervising and managing staff. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Knowledge of forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
