Home to around 800 boys, Tonbridge is located approximately 40 minutes by train from central London and enjoys superb facilities on a 150-acre site.

The School provides a caring and enlightened environment in which the talents of each individual flourish, encouraging boys to be creative, tolerant and to strive for academic, sporting and cultural excellence.

GCSE and A Level results are consistently excellent, and the School was ranked sixth overall in the 2024 Sunday Times’ Parent Power Schools’ Guide, and the country’s top-performing boys’ boarding school.

Tonbridge merged with The New Beacon Preparatory School (TNB) in 2021 in combination, the two schools provide an educational pathway for boys from 3 to 18.

We will soon be advertising an exciting opportunity for an outstanding and experienced MarComs professional to provide strategic direction and inspired leadership for the School’s marketing and communication activities.

This newly created role will be responsible for the development of innovative marketing, communications, public relations and pupil recruitment strategies for both Tonbridge and The New Beacon Preparatory School and will be ideal for a candidate with an established track record in strategic and hands-on’ marketing, communications and brand management gained from within or outside the education sector.
