- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and in place.- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and sterile techniques.- Maintain an organized and sterile surgical field.- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
- Ensure instruments are functioning properly before and after procedures.- Assist with post-operative clean-up and care of equipment.
