Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Westbury Branch

Summary : The role of a Customer Service Associate - Westbury Branch is to satisfy the needs of our customers by completing deposit and withdrawal transactions, responding to customer inquiries, issuing money orders, cash advances and cashiers' checks.

The Customer Service Associate will open, close, and provide service of all Dime's deposit and consumer loan products to Dime customers in the branch market area.

The hourly wage minimum $20; maximum $29. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses / certifications, language necessities, and location.

Responsibilities :

• Provide account services to all Dime customers.
• Expedite deposit and withdrawal transitions accurately.
• Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins.
• Process night deposits bags.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of Dime products and services to provide appropriate solutions to customers' financial needs.
• Possess current knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Report under the Bank Secrecy Act requirements related to Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and Dime internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Report.
• Respond to inbound Dime customer inquiries.
• Support business development efforts of the branch manager through in-branch sales, phone and direct mailing campaigns..
• Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data for SOX 404 purposes.
• Review, submit, process, and close consumer loan requests.
• Make decisions within their realm of authority (i.e., overdrafts, overrides, signature guarantees) in lieu of absent managers.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.
