About The Position
Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM), Fri-Sun Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Valid state license required at the time of submission Certifications : NBSTSA required, BLS preferred Must-Have : Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Job Description : Perform duties as a Certified Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technician in an acute care setting.
- Handle cases involving General, Ortho, Endo / Lap, GYN, and Robotics.- Experience with Spine / Joint, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic, Bariatric, and ENT preferred.
- Work within a team in a Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital environment.- Participate in a structured orientation for 16 hours.
- Adhere to weekday on-call requirements, 2 weeknights per month from 11 PM to 7 AM.- Engage in a structured, blocked schedule from Friday to Sunday.
- Maintain the necessary certifications and comply with vaccination requirements.- Ability to float within the hospital as per needs, no floating to sister facilities.
