The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the Engineering Services Group, ensuring alignment with company goals and GMP regulations.
Develop and document specifications for new equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement reliability engineering practices to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime. Provide technical support for new projects, including expansion initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and processes. Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of critical equipment, including fermenters, bioreactors, centrifuges, and ultra-filtration skids.
Ensure compliance with GMP regulations in all engineering activities, including CIP and SIP processes. Maintain a thorough understanding of clean utilities, including clean steam generators, WFI distillation systems, and GMP autoclaves.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering, specifically within GMP environments. Proven experience with fermentation systems, bioreactors, chromatography skids, incubators, ultra-low temperature freezers, fillers, and clean utilities.
Strong understanding of CIP and SIP processes. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Relevant certifications (e.
