Summary of the role :

The Sr. Account Executive - Digital Media Advertising is responsible for leading sales and the strategic development of strong relationships with media advertising agencies and their travel clients (Airlines & Airports, Destinations, Cruise Companies,and Attractions).

Knowledge of digital media, programmatic buying, measurement, and the competitive landscape is essential for the success of this key growth position.

In this role you’ll :

Be responsible for new and existing business sales to media advertising agencies and their travel clients.

Develop a detailed strategy and plan to expand partnerships and participation with key media advertising agencies and their travel clients in the US.

Identify, build, and close new business opportunities for consumer and business media

Consult and educate media advertising agencies & their teams about the unique market position and capabilities Amadeus has to offer to their clients

Represent Amadeus at industry events, conferences and market trips

Develop key relationships with Media Advertising Agencies, Airline and Travel Marketing decision makers in the US.

Identify customer specific needs and leverage custom solutions across our product suite.

Lead Generation - sourcing new leads and building an active pipeline of business.

Build long term strategy with leadership for continued expansion in the US.

Collaborate with the greater Amadeus media team to refine and improve go to market planning.

Must be able to understand complex opportunities and how to position solutions in a crowded, competitive landscape.

Be the media advertising agency face of Amadeus. Help us further develop, define and grow our unique offer in the US market.

This is an individual contributor role.

About the ideal candidate :

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience within Digital Media Advertising Sales.

5+ years of experience in digital media sales to media advertising agencies working with travel holding companies and large independent shops

Proven experience of achieving quarterly and yearly sales targetsin excess of 3M

Advanced knowledge of ad tech and the vendor eco-system

Experience with Airline, Attraction, Cruise clients highly valued; strong understanding of the travel eco-system preferred

Ability to influence senior level executives, strong presentation / communication skillswith high energy and passion

Strong network within the Hospitality / Travel & Tourism industry highly preferred

Competent in Salesforce or similar CRM

Ability to travel 25-30%
