Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges to improve their overall quality of life.
Your expertise in behavior analysis will be used to assess and develop effective treatment plans for each individual, with the goal of reducing challenging behaviors and increasing social and adaptive skills.
In this role, you will work directly with clients and their families, providing behavior assessments, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based interventions.
Additionally, you will provide training and guidance to caregivers and other professionals involved in the client's care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
They will have a passion for helping individuals with special needs and a commitment to promoting positive change. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients, their families, and the team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments to determine the needs and goals of each individual
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles
- Provide direct behavior therapy to clients, following established protocols and treatment plans
- Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals in designing and implementing interventions
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals in implementing behavior intervention strategies
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in behavior analysis and autism treatment
Requirements
- Board certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience providing behavior analysis services
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
- Experience conducting comprehensive behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to off-site locations
