Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care (Float - Northern Indianapolis region)

IU Health Physicians  is seeking an FNP or PA  to join our Primary Care team as a float for our North Indy clinics!

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess health status through obtainment of relevant health history and comprehensive physical exam, preventative screening, and identification of medical risk factors.
• Formulate appropriate differential diagnosis and identification of individual, family, and community needs.
• Develop treatment plan to maximize the health potential of the individual, family, and / or community.
• Order and adjust medication per collaborative written agreement and prescriptive authority in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, or in consultation, and with signature of physician.
• Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards for nursing practice.
• Assist in the assessment of the clinicals nurse's performance and validates clinical competencies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan.Â
• Perform minor office procedures

Qualifications :

• FNP or PA BE / BCÂ required
• 1-2 years primary care experience required
