Key Responsibilities
The senior technical project manager is responsible for successful execution of Applied Materials’ Automation Product Group’s deployments.
A successful candidate will have experience managing large technical projects involving all or multiple applications in the CIM environment.
In addition to managing large projects the Sr. PM works closely with the PMO, acts as a mentor for other less experienced PMs, and helps ensure quality delivery (on time, within budget, meets requirements) of other projects within the program.
Conform and adhere to PMO standards
Mentor others on PMBOK best practices
Work with sales and technical teams during sales cycle to develop proposals
Lead project teams involving multiple technical project leads
Closely collaborate with customer PM to ensure quality delivery
Other Requirements
Travel up to 50% depending on project and phase of project. Travel is generally domestic with occasional international travel required.
Qualifications
PMP Certified
Working knowledge of applications in semiconductor CIM environment such as MES, MCS, APC, Recipe Management, Equipment Automation, etc.
Expertise in one or more of the aforementioned applications
Proficiency using commonly used PM software programs such as MS Project
Skilled in quality practices such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 8D, Kepner-Tregoe
Expert problem solver
Experience managing budgets
Understands customer KPIs, business unit KPIs, and impact of our projects on those KPIs
Manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources
Adept at communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and managing relationships

U.S. Salary Range :
$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
