Our attractive and comprehensive benefits package is designed to meet the needs of our employees. Job Summary Provide clinical oversight of patients and clinicians, supervise routine operational activities, and oversee general office / administrative staff on assigned shift.
Patient admissions are evaluated and accepted, staff is assigned and clinical support is provided. Staff performance is supervised and feedback provided to optimize quality patient care.
May provide direct patient care as needed Key Responsibilities · Assignment of staff is coordinated in order to match the needs of the patients and staff skills, as well as meeting geographic efficiency and clinician productivity.
- Ongoing clinical support and counsel is provided to staff to effectively handle complex patient cases. · Participate in functions related to the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes, including facilitating new hire orientations, trainings, and in-services.
- Patient care needs are communicated to assigned clinicians providing information necessary for patient care. · Clinical performance of direct care staff is evaluated on an ongoing basis by field supervision at least annually and communicated to the manager.
- Documentation is reviewed for adherence to established guidelines then routed appropriately and timely. · Clinical staff are appropriately oriented to the job expectations within established guidelines.
- Routine supervisory activities are conducted, and any relevant information is communicated to the manager. · Patient admissions are evaluated and accepted that meet admission criteria and appropriate staff availability, and established policies and procedures.
- Customer issues related to multi-disciplinary team members are communicated and / or resolved jointly. Education / Degree Requirements Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Licensure, Certifications or Registration Required : Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse Experience · Knowledge of high tech nursing skills preferred · Supervisory experience preferred Computer literate with various computer software required · Ability to effectively triage telephone situations · Strong written, verbal and electronic communication skills · Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with a varied population · See a situation, critically assess it, make a decision, and execute it · Travel required within PHH geographic area Physical Environment Primarily will work in patients’ homes.
Potential exposure to blood, blood products, body fluids and chemical hazards. Attend meetings in a variety of external organizations, healthcare facilities, hotels and other venues.
